Brick and Brewer? They look great! Especially with their heads feathered in now.
Feathers coming in and a full crop.I got one pic of Shadow/Java’s squeaker before it decided to take a dump on my wrist, which ran right up my sleeve.

Feathers coming in and a full crop.Looks healthy even if small for its age.
Thanks for posting pics from the show, I didn't know you were a judge!![]()
Oops I misread your post. Was also a judging event f
looking 'ok'. Well... They look healthy! But need some more feathers on their chest. haha!
Thanks. Its a portuguese tumbler hen. Here's her mate. Hoping to show them this fall. You've got some nice pigeons. I like the black and white one.
Put a plastic cup over head while you are checking.Yes, she bites HARD! haha but I have to put my hand under to check the babies. I'll wait til the cock's on the nest tomorrow to add some shavings under the chicks. He will be easier on me.![]()
They are soo good, flavorful and healthy too. They are definitely bigger than a quail. In fact one of the squabs i dressed last season weighed 760 grams.Yes it is a racer. It overshot its home loft by about 70 miles. I've never had pigeon as food before. I should imagine it must be like quail. Only a king pigeon must have more meat.
