Pigeon Talk

I have some wooden eggs.

As far as your second point... I guess not. I was excited to see babies but I don't really have space longterm for when babies become adults.

Things have been slowly sliding down the slippery slope from my original intentions to have a pet bird. Since all of my creatures must, by necessity, live in the house with me I probably should stop the ball from rolling before it becomes too much of a good thing. Especially since, as of late, only two of these guys have started to feel like too much. :(
While it's sad to read that you're having issues with Rowan it's still up to you what you want to do. I do so want to see those eggs hatch. Rowan (if his band was correct) was hatched in 2018. I'm not sure how old pigeons live to be. I would think you'd have a easier time placing their offspring. I also think it's important to keep in mind that Olive might have behaviors if her mate is gone. Either way I'm far from a pigeon expert but I have enjoyed watching their story. I'm sure you will do what is best for them :hugs

Good news today, my last missing bird trapped in this morning while I was feeding.

The hen that crashed is also doing well.

I'm jealous, I'd love some Archangels.

@CCUK your new loft is on a piece of concrete right? I know you don't have many birds in it right now but is it easy to get poop off of?
It's on 2x2 concrete slabs. I have them in the chicken run too. The chickens create a lot of mess and when I clean them out I have a floor scraper and it lifts right up. It's easier when wet though. I hope the pigeons won't be as messy but...they are pigeons!
