Pigeon Talk

So what is everyone going to do with their babies? Keep 'em, sell some, turn them into house pigeons like Olive? Seems there are a bunch of babies right now. Tis the season, I guess.
Let's see... I have bred 15 youngsters so far, and plan to breed one more clutch from two pairs. One from jet blacks, and two ash reds that should produce brick reds, if there family tree is right. And then I will allow my pure whites to breed all they want. So, I have way to many babies. I tried to get a someone located in Memphis to get a few, but he wants to build the loft first... A wise choice. :)

soo hopefully I will be able to give\sell 8 youngsters this year. I have several people who I know that want some. But right now, I'm mostly hoping to breed some more colors for flying.

Here's some pics of today's loft fly of my young birds.

Haha! Yeah, with squeakers the first few times don't involve a lot of flying. A lot of looking though.
