One of Sexlinks after having laid beautiful pink / brown eggs for many months , has started to lay much paler / pimpled shells
any ideas ?
Thank you

I have heard/read that chickens eventually, after laying for awhile, start laying paler eggs because they started running out of the dye for their egg color. After a molt they replenish their stock.

When you say pimpled shells I assume that you mean rough/bumpy shells. This can because by calcium or calcium to phosphorus imbalance. Also I think there are diseases that can cause rough shells. But this is probably not as likely as calcium or calcium to phosphorus imbalance.

How many months?
Yes, pics are needed.

What all and how exactly are you feeding?

Where in this world are you located @Lee Charteris ?
Climate, and time of year, is almost always a factor.
Please add your general geographical location to your profile.
It's easy to do, and then it's always there!
