Pink eggs!

Here's hatching eggs I purchased. The pink/purple (what would you call it?) is a Sussex egg. Unfortunately...it didn't hatch for me.

I have! That's what I was referring to by SFH (just being too lazy to type) Lol. I do love them! So you'd say they're consistent layers of pink?

That's too bad. That is a really beautiful color and I also think the Sussex are pretty chickens as well. The speckled and the coronation.

The tan eggs are from the Aussies, but you can see how they are different every day. Unfortunately I can't find any photos of the more pink ones

Ok I wondered. I've got a splash OE myself. All mine are chicks still so no eggs yet and she's only F1 but I'm hoping for the best. She got the cute muffs and beard of Ameraucana and feathered legs like maran. She's pretty stinking cute.

We have two Faverolles and were told they lay pink eggs. They are only 3 months old now though, so we are still waiting....

I'm trying to come up with a general consensus of which breeds most often lay a pink colored egg. So... who all has had pink/pinkish eggs and which breed(s) laid them? TIA

My Jersey giants laid really pink eggs and so did some of the JG mixes.
