I was helping DH hang a sheet rock ceiling in our old house and a very tiny minuscule piece of sheetrock got into my eye. It adhered to my cornea and I had to have minor surgery to get it out. It was really wierd becasue they sit and scrape at your eye and you cant really see it but can feel the pressure. It sucked!!! I've had pinkeye also and its like having sand in your eye, very uncomfortable.

I hope your feeling better today!

Ouch, my deduct isn't quite that high, only $2000. wowsers.

Lauree, I didn't think the insurance would pay for refills until the time is up for the previous to have nearly run out.

With my dad's meds, the doses were changing a lot in the beginning, and one of them the insurance did not want to fill because it originally said one a day, then doc changed it to two a day, and ins said it wasn't time for a refill yet, so I had to have them call in a new rx.

Maybe it depends on the type of med it is,

Been a while since I had pink eye (no children yay me) however I did have a bigger than ladybug sized black bug fly into my eye and then crawl up behind my eyeball. I could feel it crawling around on my eyeball. It was HORRIFIC.

I was eventually able to flush it out. I was in the midst of a panic attack picturing it eating into MY SOUL.

Well, I've never tried that, hmmm. Good thinking though!!

And DH can't get his refilled until he goes to doc again. Its just a pain med, so I guess doc wants to know why he's still in pain. But he just uses them on a as needed basis. Cuz, when you're older and have ahd lots of surgeries in the past, you get in pain a lot.

So that's what happened to your soul... Oops, I shouldn't be kidding around with my friend Nella. It might be misconstrued by someone.

Ack, ladybug stuck in the eye!!

I heard a story one time where someone got an earwig in their ear and could hear in munching away in there. YIKES!!
Oh, and my friend's friend went pee in the woods once and got a tick where the sun doesn't shine and had to go to ER.

oops, I said lady bug, not black bug.

The pharmacy doesnt care if all you are refilling is abuterol, vigamox, perscription buttcream, etc.

Vicotin? Yeah, they would mind.
