Little chickie pipped in the middle of the egg...that pip is definitely big enough for it to get fresh air but it's making very slow progress. It started hatching on 5/19 more towards the evening and I woke up to see that my brand new stupid light bulb had burnt out. It rained last night so the humidity was perfect but the temp was at 82ish. I immediately put in a new bulb and got the temp back up. I think everyone is OK cause I've also got another new pip today. What I'm wondering is at what hr do you guys help the chick. I internally freaked a little cause it looks like blood on the egg but maybe it's cause it pipped in a funny spot. Trying not to panic and also trying to to want to rush in and save the baby!!!!

Yes It made it!!!! It's the yellow one. It was getting close to 24 hrs and no progress but I guess it had a burst of energy and bust out of it's little shell.
