That's exciting to be finishing school! Haha. Can't wait to see the chick pictures.

Speaking of Mama, she's reached a point of indifference, I think. She started laying eggs a couple days ago, and since then she's kind of flocked with the babies, but isn't clucking for them or showing them around. And I think the babies are okay with this arrangement, because they kind of go off on their own anyway! My grandchickens are growing up!! SIGH!
DERP.
I almost had an adorable picture of them standing side by side, but Margie shook her head just as I took it and messed it all up!!
The 'pink' daffodils. They're more pinkish in person, but this is pretty close to their color. Aren't they lovely?

My little fluffy parrot!
Reuben, Reuben, Reuben...

Margie was over by the gate just talking away, almost like she was waiting for me to get her outta there!
My poor, darling grandchickens, abandoned! Anyway, Marge went in to dust bathe, and the babies were foraging all on their own, so I guess they really are okay without her. Amazing how fast they grow up!
They don't like to make picture-taking easy on me anymore, though, so I had to corner them inside to take most of them.
They're getting so big!! Benjamin is clearly bigger than the rest of them now, too! It's harder to capture in pictures, but he looks like he's going to be a big guy!
The little troublemakers.
I had one boy about 7 weeks old if I remember right that sounded like a squeaky toy when he crowed! Another young man started crowing at just over 3 weeks, and he just sounded like he was making this chirpy peep noise.
Marky, too. I think Benjamin's going to give Reub a run for his money as well, he's shaping up to be a big fella.
Too bad building supplies cost so much! I'd have 18,730,284 coops for my 42,749,274 chickens.
I wonder how hard it would be to name that many chickens...
