Well, yesterday, the babies turned 3 weeks old! I was 100% committed that that would be the day they'd go outside the first time, but the weather had other ideas. SIGH. So I thought, well, I wouldn't take pictures then and instead take pictures today, because today they would FOR SURE go outside! But, nope, once again the weather didn't work with me. Tomorrow, it's supposed to be sunny and clear, so fingers crossed that that will be the big day!
For now, I took a ton of pictures today! Like, seriously, a ton!! I took individual pictures of all the babies to make up for missing their 3-week day yesterday, and then I sat there in the brooder for a while and just snapped pics when I saw something cute.

So brace yourselves--this post is gonna be long!!
Individual pictures, in alphabetical order:
Callette the Silver Gray Dorking:
Cazzie the Blue Cochin:
Donnie the SGD:
Endymion the Easter-egger:
Flury the Splash Cochin:
Izzy the Blue Ameraucana:
Lydda the SGD:
Rooska the Lavender Orpington:
And Umru the Light Brahma (eating, because that's what she does

) :
Now, for the rest of the pictures...
Callette and Donnie on my lap
Rooska being fabulous
Cazzie and her floofy feet!
Izzy, taking her role as parrot seriously.

Yep, she's on my shoulder.
Umru hugs! Those aren't too common, you know.
"Derp?"
Donnie boy in my lap
He's listening very closely
Umru eating again.
Endy on my leg. "What?"
She's probably giving me looks because she spent the entire time I was up there hopping on my arms while I was trying to take pictures. Chick nails scratching up and down your arms don't make picture taking terribly easy! Does she look ashamed?
Here's Flury, scratching. She can get those shavings flying!!
She takes preening very seriously.
Here is a better picture of her splashes, by the way. Part of her tail is coming in in blue.
This is an outtake from Roska's picture, where Lydda decided she wanted to be in it, too.
And to finish off, Dorking love!!

Need I explain why I adore this breed?
Oh, Callette
Lydda, my little buddy
These next two pictures were at the same time. Callette made herself at home under my left arm:
And Lydda snuggled up in my right arm:
Rooska joined in, too.

Such a sweetheart!
Rooska and Callette with their necks stretched out over my arm.
"Um, excuse us!"
Donnie tried to join in, but Callette wasn't having any of it!

"No boys allowed!"
And, err, there you have it!

Told ya it was a lot!!
