Pipped near top I am not sure if I should assist?

Which end of the egg did it pip at? I ask because in the picture it looks like it might have pipped at the point end, not the fat end.
It pipped near the pointy end. He keeps chomping in the flappy membrane should i gently remove with tweezers?

Wow!! So nervous!! You are so brave! Congratulations on saving your precious baby!! The bill is free. He is just sitting in his opening nom nom nom on a flappy piece of dried membrane.. I tried to post a video here but i dont think it will let me. Gonna give it a try...but @WVduckchick how long until i go in to assist taking off shell? Do i start where his bill is at near where he pipped and move toward the pointy end or do i start chipping the shell towards the big end? Also do i put it under a brooder light to keeo it warm? Do i do it by holding it in a rag ? I just want to be sure i keep it moist while picking away at it if i do so? Thank you
don't mess with anything if there are still veins and yolk to be absorbed. If the little bill is exposed and he can at least breath. Take a break and let him try. Then if he doesn't later to start picking away carefully not to tear through veins

Okay, if it's pipped at that end it means it's upside down and will require more time. Please do not remove more shell yet. Let me go find something about this...
