Well, I decided to check on them one last time before I started getting ready for bed. Didn't see anything still. Decided to pick him up to try to listen closer and felt a "snag" on the back side of the egg. Turned it around and saw a tan mark with a pip hole in the middle of it. Apparently the little movement I saw at the back/bottom edge of the air cell was just Little Weirdo pressing against the nice, cushiony, air cell...as he pecked away at the shell in the middle of the back (the side that had been against the bottom of the incubator) of his shell. I turned the egg so his pip hole is on the side...not sure if that makes sense. Basically I turned his egg 90° so he's not face down anymore. I wasn't sure if turning him a full 180° was ok, didn't want to risk confusing him more. I don't think I could hear him peeping, it's hard to tell since his brother egg doesn't stop peeping. But I could feel his little bill poking at that pip hole. I guess that's why I heard so much tapping and no peeping. Internal and external pip pretty much happen at the same time when they pip outside the air cell right? I didn't see any bleeding so hopefully he'll be ok. Now that he has an air hole everything else should theoretically progress normally right? Like the membrane veins will start to go away and he'll absorb his yolk since he's breathing. He has air at least.
