vkp, who is that seller that replaces eggs, I need to buy eggs from somebody like that!
cluck, no, the rest of the eggs won't develop. The air sacs are all detached. I just learned today that detached air sacs are a sign of post office "scrambling" and will not develop. I saw the forum on detached air sacs and it's pretty interesting.
Anyway, these eggs were shipped via FedEx, and I think they were really handled roughly. Great packing job on the seller's part, but obviously mishandled en route....oh well.
Anyway, only 3 eggs have stable air sacs. They look like something's going on inside possibly and I definitely will not throw them out. Probably won't give up on them till day 18 right before lockdown (assuming they still don't show anything)....I'm such a wimp, I'm not throwing out the detached air sac ones either, even though they're all clear...
I have 20 quail eggs in my other bator that are due to hatch on Tuesday though, and 5 Silver spangled Hamburg eggs that I set on August 11th, so all is not lost...
This incubating thing is really much harder than I would have thought!
