Yes the middle one is a Barnevelder egg. Hopefully it will hatch.
I cant get a count right now on good eggs. I spent the last 6 hours in the ER. I had horrible chest pains and difficulty breathing all night. They gave me a CT scan thinking that I might have a blood clot but it came up negative. After 4 shots of morphine my chest is still killing me. I'll be bed ridden for the next few days. Thank God my wife can tend to my Chickie's and bator for me.

So should I candle again on day 14?

I did post a photo of me sitting on the brooder in the brooder show off thread so you can really get an idea of how big that monster is. That the second one I built. My friend that got me started into chickens needed a bigger one so I ended building her a similar one.

The anticipation of the hatch is killing my wife and I! I blame you Kristin!

aaaaaaaaahhhh! Hope it's nothing serious. I know being patient waiting for eggs to hatch is stressful but sheesh!!! Hope you're back on your feet soon.

Define serious? I have a bulge disk L4/L5 and in turn chronic sciatica for years now. But the doc's suspect that I may have another bulge in my upper back with pinching nerves. We'll know more after another MRI. I'm only 28 years old and feel like an old frail man. I'm not one to give up though. I have a family to care for. I just need to keep trooping on!
