Hello everyone! My name is Phil and I'm planning on keeping a trio of laying hens in my backyard in Richfield, mn starting this spring. I'd go bigger, but 3 is the limit in Richfield. This site has already been most helpful in deciding on a coop/run style and what breeds I'll be keeping.
My dad and I are currently in the planning and design process for a 4'x8' 'A' frame style chicken tractor. My ideal stocklist is one speckled sussex, one australorp and a rhode island red that I can raise from baby chicks.
My other pets include a loveable hound mutt named sarah and about 20 aquariums full of tropical fish that I breed and sell to fund my hobbies.
Hoping to meet some fellow chicken enthusiasts, and maybe even a local breeder or two. Looking forward to learning a lot.
Thanks for reading,
Phil
