still working on that. but I "think" the standard coop is 10 by 12 feet, so i am hoping the bantam coop will be 20 by 10 or 12 feet.
I am horrible with dimensions I measured the coop today it is 6feet 2inches by 8feet and half an inch. (I did not build this coop it really bothers me that it is not a normal size).

There is no 'normal' coop size...they come or are built in all sizes.

here are the pics of today's doings.
I forgot to put the "reservoirs" on the poop boards so the bedding doesn't fall off. so that took most of the day then I had to actually put the roost up on the second poop board and make supports. Today I made the nest boxes (only 4 because that coop won't fit more than 20 birds comfortably). I made the nest boxes out of an old workshop counter shelving unit thing.

the dust on the walls is mite lice dust that I haven't brushed into the wood yet.
I am only using shavings on the poop boards because I didn't have a chance to get sand/pdz
once I am done everything will be painted

Looks good!
I wouldn't bother painting(do you have somewhere else to put birds for the few days that it will take for paint to cure?)
But I would get rid of what looks like broken window glass there to the right.

Yep when I am painting this Coop, they will be in the other (new one) coop.
The broken glass has been on the list forever (literally since we got that Coop) but we never had a window to replace it with. Now we do , it will be smaller but better, thicker, and clearer glass in it. Also to take the window out we need to saw through some bolts that hold the window in place.

The chickens look pleased! It’s a nice space for them.

Not that I know how a chicken looks when pleased...
Lol thanks.

I made the grow out/introduction pen today

All the wire is folded so they can't get cut or poked

The nest boxes are :24in by 27in by 12in
