Bush will grow like a pepper plant and should be strong enough to stand on it's own.
Next year you will want to plant something like corn or tomatoes where the beans are now. Beans actually suck in a lot of Nitrogen into the soil which is great for other plants. Native Americans used to grow what is called the 3 Sisters. Corn, Beans and Squash. All 3 take something else out of the soil and grow real well together. BUT they have to be Heritage types because the new hybrid seeds just aren't the ame.
