Since a determined predator can get through the metal chicken wire, and hence the frequent recommendations to use hardware cloth, I would guess most predators could tear up the plastic netting quite easily. That said, I use it and love it. I use it to keep the chooks out of my garden - not to keep predators away from the chooks. For this purpose it is wonderful - lightweight and easy to use. I threaded bamboo stakes through it, fenced off the garden, and at the end of the season I'll roll it all up and store it away until next season, then let the chooks go to town on the remnants of the vegie garden.
Another factor to keep in mind is that sun is very hard on plastic so I don't anticipate this stuff lasting more than a year or two. For a more permanent option, you would really want to use wire.
