I think my pullet may actually be a cockerel and I'm heartbroken. I have absokutely no desire to have a rooster and being inside city limits am sure I can't anyway.....DOB 4/21/21 Buff Orpington/Americana. She has been really honky the last week or so but it's was still the tune of regular chicken chirps. Husband assured me it was a protective noise, our cat was nearby. Today it came out sounding like a rough crow....

Male, unfortunately. Also, it is not a Buff orp/ Ameraucana mix because it is a barred colas with yellow legs.
@nicalandia @The Moonshiner get over here. I’ve never seen a splash bird with barred black splashes.
