Please give me thoughts on my Coop!

We have chicken wire but half way up have hardware cloth and 4 strands of electric fence.. Yours looks nice..very nice..

Perhaps some opening/closing shutter doors would be a good addition. That way you can open them for sunlight during the day and close them for days that are cool and windy or rainy. It would also make it more predator proof at night. Hinges are not that expensive either.

It’s a great use of an old play gym. Great recycling ideas!

Boy! I wish I could find someone tossing out a play-set like that around here! I'd adjust your Wonderful Idea into a Loft for my Guineas!
I'd panel the top area for more protection, and wrap 2x4 welded wire around on top of that poultry-netting to keep out predators. Many of 'em's molars are like wire-snips, and can cut that stuff easily - but it's good for keeping babies contained within the structure.
I love the looks of anticipation on yer hens! They've named you "Food Bringing Woman"!

just an idea but you could get some plywood and enclose the top level for protection from wind and rain and take the chicken wire from the top and double up on the bottom level strengthing it. ALSO good use of the playset. one of my coops is a big dog house made from plywood. actually it was more of a dog condo bc its 6'x 4' lol

oh boy this is cute. Love that it's recycled!

I may be missing something here, but how will you collect your eggs? Do you have to climb a ladder, open the door and then get inside the upper level to retrieve them from the nest boxes? Maybe you're more agile than the average bear, but that would get old in my camp.

We had a playset like that and the bottom was a coop for 2 hens but I decided it was too small and we tore it apart and built a make shift coop for now until i can get my dad to build a more pernament home.

Seriously, cool idea...my kids are definitely not ready to give up their play set yet.
