Well Sparx (My neighbours named her) is still okay. We washed her wound this morning and she's just resting now.

Vet wrap is medical version of a wrap for when you sprain something. It is better and safer to use on chickens. You can get it off of AmazonWhat is vet wrap?![]()

My mom taught me that trick several years back - She is a nurse and told me that cabbage leaves are used on women's breast for various reasons (clogged milk ducts, inflammation and helping to dry up breast milk) which kinda blows my mind... Cabbage! Anyhow, I am not sure of the science behind it, but it sure is cool that it worksThat's amazing! I've never heard of it before.
We should be on day 4 or 5 with the wound so I'm not sure if that would be useful anymore..... If not I'm going to save it in case this happens again.Thanks for sharing!
