they all look to me like pearl but it has always been really hard for me to tell, but this website may help you http://paraguinparadise.netfirms.com/keet_kolor_key.htm

it
is also possible they could be pied pearl, pearl keets have numerous color patterens be sure to look at the pictures at the bottom of the regular colors and in the middle you will see what i think you have hope this helps and good luck with the rest of your hatch guinea keets are so much fun(althought they waste a lot of feed)

not wanting to hijack here but my cooked eggs are hatching! I have 6 chicks now and one almost out and a couple more pips! They came a day early, too. but seem to be doing great!

yay, thats great your eggs are hatching. what breed are they?

another guinea fowl hatched yesterday and I had to put the store bought chicks in there as all the others were all picking on the little one. I am really surprised though cause the store bought chicks are being really nice to the little one, It's so cute.
I think it has been a week since they first started hatching so I will get some photos of them at a week old. the store bought chicks are soo pretty, does anyone know what a lohmann x araucana mix looks like?

I don't even know what a lohmann looks like. Do we even have them here, in the USA? I'm anxious to see your new photos!

How many do you have left to hatch?

I think I have about 12 left to hatch but I am hoping to give some of the eggs to a freind that has a broody hen and he wants guinea fowl too so it's perfect. I just hope his hens still broody.
I am off to take photos now.

Hello All!
We're celebrating a Christmas hatch... 9 Black Rosecomb chicks (from 12 eggs)... we're first time "grandparents" and this is a first time "mama".
1 came on Dec. 23, 7 more on Christmas Eve and the last little guy came Christmas Day! What an awesome Christmas present (& not just for the kids either!

You have done an amazing job, hatching a staggered hatch in one incubator! I don't think I could have done it. You are truly remarkable, young lady! BRAVO!!

Thank you so much kathy but I have learned not to do it again it is just so difficult. thats why I am trying to get rid of the eggs that are due on the 9th and also because we are planing on going on holidays soon too so not having the eggs to worry about will be alot easier.
