if i'm being completely honest that is super dumb. what is it going to affect if i take a blu jay feather or egg shell???? plus the bones would be cool if you just randomly found them. it doesnt affect anything. do you know why that is?

To prevent people from purposely causing harm to the birds to obtain these items. You may not cause a problem, but Bill down the corner may realize people will pay for these neat things on a webstore and he doesn't like these little birds anyhow.
