I don’t have time for a long explanation because i’m on my way to TSC rn so i want to see if there’s anything i can purchase there by the time i get there but my cayuga’s eye looks like this. her inner eyelid the one that is like see through is fine and she seems to be acting normally. her feathers are getting slightly wet. my ducks get fresh water daily and the shed is clean. i’m cleaning it out again today. she’s my pet. she comes to parks with me occasionally and lets me pick her up and cuddle her. i’d be heartbroken if anything happened to her especially since i just recently lost another duck to a fox.

someone on my instagram suggested using human eye drops 3 times a day. they said it helped their duck w a similar problem. i don’t have money for a vet at the moment but my dad offered to pay if she doesn’t improve in a few days and if it’s absolutely necessary.

Since your going to TSC get either the Veterycin spray for wounds and infections or the Veterycin eye wash both are excellent for inflammation which it looks like she has. Terramycin eye ointment is another good product for eye issues.

I would not take her to the park if other water fowl are there, just too easy for her to pick up something.

If you get Veterycin wash the eye out real good with it there maybe something under the eye lid if you get the Terramycin I’d was the eye out with saline before applying just in case there is something dust food particle under the eye lid causing irritation
