My chicken woke up laying basically on her side she doesn't want to eat and drink I have tried giving her both and nothing is working. When I pick her she doesn't even try to move. She's not moving at all and has sad eyes.
Can anyone help on what could it be and what I can try to do?

I'm very sorry for this situation to be what brings you to BYC.

It sounds like you have a serious situation on your hands. There are a lot of knowledgeable people here. Hopefully someone can help, but they're going to need a lot of information. This forum's top sticky thread lists all the guidelines.

Please read it and post all the relevant information here.

Good luck!

I'm so sorry!!
I don't know either but maybe @KikisGirls @Ol Grey Mare

What breed & how old is she?
Are there any other symptoms? Was she acting any different before this?
Poop?
Anyone else acting funny?

In the meantime, see if you can find a syringe or eye dropper to force feed her water.
Add nutridrench which has more vitamins than regular water.

Keep us posted on her progress.

Welcome to BYC.
How old is she and how long have you had her?

Oh, I’m so sorry. If it came on that quickly, could she be egg bound? If so, this is a serious smergency that must be addressed. Sounds like it anyway. If she is an egg layer, gently probe her vent with a lubed, gloved, if possible and see if you feel an egg. If there is one, give her a warm epsom salt bath. If she us not egg bound, do not bathe her, as this can put her over the edge. Is she pooping? How is her breathing? Please look her over head to toe for injury. Please also share as much info as you can about age, feed, living quarters, flock, etc. please answer so we can help you. Of course, an avian vet is always best if that’s an option, but we may be able to help here. I’ll call in more troops in hopes someone is online.

She is about 4 years old she lives with 7other chickens she laid 2 days ago she lays every day she is the only one that is like this . They have tubes where they get their food from and nipples where they get their water there's 4nipples. They all look great she gives me small eggs and her hole is normal looking

Is her comb turning purple/bluish? Looks like it in the photo, which could be lack of oxygen. How is her breathing? Can you get her to eat a high protein treat like tuna or egg (boiled and chopped or scrambled). Also, how does her crop feel? If she hasn’t eaten today, it should be empty.
