Please help hen is having problems breathing

I wouldn’t do that right now. Tube feeding is usually only necessary if they cannot eat on their own, and have gone some time without drinking or eating. Can she drink on her own? Trying some very wet chicken feed mixed with water can get more fluids into her.

OK thank you so much for helping me. Today I noticed she was dust bathing a lot I remember thinking to myself how is she breathing. Could a little vet rx on nostrils help any or steamy room? Lol this is my last question for the night. Lol

I haven’t used Vet Rx since it is just some herbal oils mixed with camphor, and about as effective as Vicks, but it won’t hurt her. Many people like it. The steamy room probably isn’t necessary, and I would worry about exposing her to any possible mold. Vapor helps with little kid resp problems, but I would tend to leave her alone. Let us know if she still is doing that in the morning, or if she has any head shaking, or nasal drainage.

It was plain old dirt / soil from my cucumbers this past summer. Today she is breathing normally!!:weeyay!! Hopefully it doesn’t start again . I’ll be keeping an eye on her. I Don’t know if it helped or not but it could have I gave her carbonated water in a nipple watered. I have one of those fizzini soda makers . I read online that a can of soda will sometimes help dislodge food stuck down a persons throat. Thank you sooo much for helping me eggcessive .
