Please help!! Hours old chick pecked by hens. Bloody!!!

Can someone please help me??? I went to the coop to check on my broody hen and found one of the brand new chicks had gotten away from her and is now all bloody on the back of her neck. I took her into the house to get warm, but how do I help her???

First, separate the chick by itself underneath a heat lamp and put some BluKote on the wound. After the blood is dried, you can try separating the hen with the chicks from the rest of the flock and giving the chick back to its mother. Hope this helps you! PM me with any questions you have!
