Please help identify duckling breed

My oldest son found this little cutie in the middle of a busy road with no other ducks in sight. He diverted traffic and searched the area for any sign of mama or others. He scooped it up and brought it home. Any idea what we have here? Could be wild, but I've heard of a few people selling duck eggs in town...
