Please help! It's day 27 with no movement or internal pip from the duckling, what should I do?!

Omg omg he's hatching - literally no progress all this time and suddenly boom - I don't think I'm ready yet! Is he even ready??

aww!! Well there's still a little time. Remember to leave him in the incubator until he's fluffed up. And don't worry, they can stay in there just fine for up to 12 hours or longer. Just until he's fully dried and ready for the brooder!
Congrats on your duckling!!

Oh no I don't think he absorbed the sac completely and tore it off?? Can I touch him right now to get a look under? The egg shells also following him around for some reason, I don't know what it's attached by and there's pink so I'm worried!

When the shell got stuck to one of my chicks I got the stuck part damp with warm water/paper towel and it came off an hour or so later (left in the incubator). It’s so hard to watch and worry. Hope someone who knows lots about hatching ducklings can help you pronto!

Thank you! He managed to free himself thankfully, but honestly it is! the hardest is watching him flail around in there and then randomly seeing him just fall and quite down for a moment and repeat, because when he quiets down I'm worried something's wrong

Not completely certain on this, I would leave him be for now, don't attempt to remove it. I wouldn't be worried, looks okay to me. Someone more experienced may come online soon with a better answer!

it does look brutal! He'll nap a lot and fall about a lot during the first twenty four hours, but should become more energetic and balanced after that!

Oh ok thank you - I didn't remove it but it came off because he stepped on it (left it in there though) but he doesn't look like he's bleeding and is peeping a lot
