Crossing the Road
it starts as a crack, then the duckling will break through and make a hole and then zip, I believe. It is a long process and pretty stressful first time! I'm incubating duck eggs for the first time, and they're almost at lockdown- I know the hatch process takes a while, so it'll be my turn to be patient soon lol. Keep a close eye and keep us updated!Alright I'll leave the duckling in there, thank you! And I'll use that white membrane as an indicator that I can look at from outside without disturbing the egg too much! I was actually expecting an external peep to be an actual hole rather than just a crack on the surface so I thought something was wrong but in that case I can rest easy and wait another day - thats a lot of waiting lol, it's been really testing my patience!
