Please help little hen has something wrong with eye!!!!!

Get saline or eye wash and put some into the eye, then take a tissue and wipe of any excess. Just like if you got something into your own eye, you would rinse it out. Then apply a small dab of antibiotic ointment into the eye. Try getting another person to help hold still her wrapped in a towel.

So Lily is the hen with the eye problem she eats and drinks still keeps the eye closed and acts a bit dopey do you think it’s because of the eye or another problem is amidst? Also she wouldn’t open her eye when I was trying to put the cream on after she opened it do you think it went in her eye?

Also I will try to take another picture from the way it’s looking I’m wondering if she’s going to be blind in that eye forever :( if she is blind in that eye it doesn’t matter we’ll still keep her of course I just wonder if it will affect her life?

Her eye is very cloudy now I’m pretty sure she’s blind she eats drinks and comes for treats but stands underneath the sun shade a lot is this because she can’t see very well so she feels safer?

I had a chicken who was blind in one eye as well, and it appeared as clouded as your chicken’s eye is. Could you take a new picture of the eye open?
If you wave your hand a couple times near her head on her blind side, she probably won’t flinch; if she does flinch, she may still have a little vision left. You can test her other eye to see the difference.
Chickens who have blindness (from experience) tend to be really jumpy, and overly glance over to the side they’re blind on. It’ll make it hard for her to get away from predators.
