Please help me with my duckling that is having trouble walking.

Not many do. Feeding layer that young can cause kidney problems since the calcium is way more than they need.

You would think they could at least be helpful. Like when I got my boa constrictor the lady was saying to use red heat lamps when you weren't supposed to. I had ducks before them that were killed by a possum but they ate layena crumbles at a young age and were healthy. When she breathes,she makes this whistling sound

Information that I have collected from the past from several reliable sources in Poultry Medicine suggests that "too much" dietary calcium is usually only slightly higher than the required amount, and when too much is given for an extended period of time you are risking damage to the kidneys, other factors may also be affected like absorption of certain minerals.

How do you know when they have had too much, and is it okay for her to make a whistling sound while breathing?

Water at all times. Ducks don’t sleep all night. Feed and water 24/7.

I have ducklings inside the house currently, well it's warm enough in their brooder that a heat lamp isn't needed, so this year I have been turning the heat lamp off at night, so it's completely dark and the ducklings can't see so they are unable to drink or eat.

I actually prefer doing this since it more replicates how ducklings in the wild would be at night. Under their mother without feed or water. I think doing this helps prevent leg problems in heavyweight breeds thus affecting their overall growth rate. I think ducklings that are under heat lamps 24/7 grow to fast and end up with more problems compared to one's in a more natural setting.

Everyone has there own way of doing everything, but I do disagree that they NEED food/water 24/7.

A friend just texted me today saying her less than week old ducklings aren’t eating food after 9 pm and she was thinking of taking it up until morning did I think it was okay I said my two ducklings aren’t eating over night either and just Ike hers it’s because they are in the dark sleeping. She is using a heat pad instead of a heat lamp mine are under a broody.

I had to make these heavy duty wood boxes with locks and straw to sleep in And if I put water in there the ducks and chickens knock the bowls over and make the new straw all wet. My chickens have been sleeping without water and food at night for years so I think it’s okay for the night since they do sleep at night, or at least relax at night. Tonight I put little bird in there and see how it goes. Can someone tell me if I need to take precautions or just keep giving her the vitamins. This isn't going to kill her if it is nerological ,right?
