You still have your drake right? he is going to need you since he has lost his best friend, Be there for him and he'll be there for you.
My Muscovy drake is my best buddy.

I do , he's been looking for her where he last saw her ,and it's tearing me apart ..
Does he have to see for himself that she died ?
And I wish he'd tolerate me ,she was sweet and friendly , he only loved her , following her everywhere she went

Mine have seen one of their flock dead and they pretty much just avoid it. So up to you if you want to show him. I know it's early and you just lost her but for your drake's sake you might want to think about getting him another duck. Actually, 2 females would be best so he can spread the love around. [They can sometimes be pretty rough on just one female.] Spend time with him he may warm up to you now that he is alone.
