I'm not sure how hard your incubator is to maintain humidity, but if you are afraid its pecking at the bottom facing the floor, if you have a way to rock the egg, you might be able to see it. I use a bendy straw through a vent hole. Just rock it enough to see the bottom, if you can. And if you see a break in the shell, try to leave the egg so its not on the floor. It should zip counter-clockwise (while looking at the fat end of the egg), so if you move it a little, move it to the side that will allow it to continue to zip upward, not back toward the floor. Or if you have to, you can open it real quick to check. But be sure you can keep the humidity up!
