Please help, potential emergency!

Glad to hear Sue is better and hopefully the injuries are surface wounds more than anything! It would be great if she could eventually go back in "general pop" once she recovers but I'd keep an eye on her to make sure this wasn't just a one time thing.

I guess some of us are just mushballs because if Sue was next week's dinner, the consensus would be "just butcher early" but as soon as the word pet comes into play, then most people would want her to recover. Especially since she has made it this long from her humble beginnings as a chicken-pot-pie-to-be...
 
Yea... I'm astonished that she's almost 3 year old. TOTALLY outside the norm. But she was completely free range up until now, so she got plenty of exercise and stayed healthy and fit. Just moderately rotund. Though I fear she may not last much longer if we can't get a bigger area for them all to roam around as they please.
