This morning when I went to open the chickens, I noticed that my rooster has a VERY swollen wattle. The tips of his comb + wattle have been kinda black, but he seemed fine. He eats and drinks normally, and the skin in between the two parts of his wattle is also swollen. Please help A.S.A.P!!

I'm in detroit, MI, it's pretty cold, so I guess frostbite could be a possibility

That (frostbite) would be my guess. I'm in WI and just noticed the same with a couple of my more comb/waddle endowed boys. I actually ended up bringing some inside this past week. It wasn't super fun to have 5 roosters in my foyer, but at least didn't get any worse. I've since been putting salve on them (especially there waddles since those can get wet when they drink), and they're back outside and doing well.
