finally my eggs hatched out 38 out of 48 hatched out but few of them got split legs they can’t stand up please help what should I do 1 of them died like that for the Refrence I m putting a picture please help fast
Hey Kiki yes I do have thermometer in there I try to make the temperature 35Get the newspaper in the trash ASAP. Can you get some grippy shelf liner to use instead? Paper towels or a real towel will be better for preventing more leg issues.
I can not help with trying to fix the poor thing's legs.

This idea worked thank you 1 servived chick is kicking aliveFirstly, change their bedding. Newspaper is too slippery. Try something easier to grip to, like paper towel, or even a tea towel. This should help prevent anymore from getting it.
For the chicks with splayed leg, you could try giving them a splint to correct the leg position. I had a chick with the opposite problem. She had crossed legs. I was able to fix her leg position by holding her in my hands, with her legs in the proper position, for a few hours.
If you look up 'fixing splayed leg', you should be able to see images of splints people have used.
