Please help with sick peacock

This is the better idea... Would be best to see a vet.

Vets differ and the one you find may or may not be as accommodating as is mine. Mine has sold me syringes with antibiotics in them for me to take home and administer. They special order and sell to me often times cheaper than Tractor Supply. But like anything else you buy, shop around for best price but consider travel expense as well as supporting local business.

I have had her on Tylan 50 for 2 days now and she's hardly wheezing and this morning she's breathing woth her beak closed, and holding her wings up and not dragging them around when she walks. Its been a stressful week but its been worth it to see her this morning looking good

Glad she is better! Since she's responing to Tylan there is a very good chance that she has MG (Mycoplasma gallisepticum), so it might be a good idea to have her tested.

I have a question and would love an answer. I have been giving my 10 week old peachick Tylan 50 once a day at .25 cc. Is once a day good or should I be giving it twice a day? Am I giving the right dose for 1 1/2lbs?

Everything I have read says dosing twice a day is ideal, but I don't use it, so can't comment on it's efficacy either way. As for the dose, you're giving about 18.5mg/kg, and again, I don't use it, so can't comment on the amount.

Edited to add:
If you're giving it orally, you should probably give it twice a day.

Its been 4days now and my peachick seems to be doing alot better, she's now breathing with her beak closed but still sneezing quite often. Should I continue the Tylan 50?

What vets have told me is that antibiotics should be given two days past the cessation of symptoms. If you're only giving it once a day you might try twice a day for a few more days. If the chick is still symptomatic, it's possible that it has another bacteria that like E. coli or Pseudomonas, either of those would require a different antibiotic - Tylan does not work on those.

Im going to try twice a day for a few day and hope her sneezing clears up and I hope nothing else is wrong. Since I have had her in the house on antibiotics she has gained weight and her feathers are now coming in on her head and neck when befor I could see her skin and she was dragging her wings and just looked sickly. Some improvements but not 100%
