Yes we have a bunch. The closest it petco. Do you think they would have it? Or more of a fish store.
No not that kind of store. A real fish only type store is what I meant.

You can call them and ask though.
I would listen to @casportpony if I were you. I was just putting it out there where I know where to buy that... In my area is all.

PetsMart and PetCo carry something called API General Cure, but it contains 250 mg metronidazole and 75 mg praziqiantel. If you were 100% sure that he had canker you could try this, but something with just metronidazole would be much safer.

If that is pus I bet he has a bacterial sinus infection, and that pus needs to be removed. If he were mine i would remove pus, start Baytril, and I might even try to flushing sinuses. Please, please, please, try to find a vet that will see him because I think this is very serious. :hugs

I can also remove the pus. What would cause a sinus infection?

Not necessarily. It's possible that he has an infection from a foreign body, like a foxtail or piece of food, or it could also be from respiratory disease.
Ok. What is weird, is how fast it happened. He was fine the day before, then the next morning he started swallowing. I thought it could be just some food. The 2 nights later he still was swallowing and I could hear him breathing. So I figured pneumonia because of the crappy weather here. So I started dura 10.
But it was not getting better and that’s when I looked down his throat and saw the pus.
