If you look on line you’ll find s recipe for saline solution that will be safe to use or buy one in a store for people who use contacts. You might call around and see if you can find a store that sells feed for poultry. Hardware stores feed stores that sell livestock feed. Your doing your best but it takes a lot of different sources of grains to get a balanced diet. Can you get wheat? Wheat is good for water fowl.

I have saline solution, thanks for mentioning it.
I give them wheat, flax seed, corn, oats .. they don’t eat wheat at all but they eat the rest only in a small portion and leave the rest even for days! I sometimes have to add corn flour to vegetables or pasta.

Hey,
Just Wanted to update you on my duck, Daisy’s, issue, She’s been on antibiotics again as their vet said, she’s feeling much better, her appetite is fine and she thankfully didn’t vomited again.
And her eyes, I rinsed around her eyes with the saline solution I use for my contact once or twice(although she hates it). But I’ve just caught something weird, There is a black spot on her eyelid which I haven’t seen in before!
And something ever weirder! Today she was playing in the muds after she had her feet cleaned(in the pool) I saw a hole on her foot’s web! Is that even possible?!
Believe me or not, Since the day I adopted her I’m having mini heart attacks every once in a while, there’s always something wrong with her:(

You might try the wheat in a water bowl! Just a suggestion. Maybe she stepped on something is it raw? As for the eyes you’ll have to post a picture.

The small black spot ? Looks like she stuck something in there? Clean real good and put some kind of antibiotic ointment on it it should heal fine.
At First I thought it’s something stuck too; then I double checked it, it is really a hole! And she was fine with it, she didn’t seem in pain. Has this ever happened to a duck!?
I put tetracycline ointment on it, But will the hole completely heal?
