It is still alive this morning! It has absorbed most of the yolk, and even though it was in a cup the little bugger kicked the rest of the shell off about 430 this am. It hasn’t changed since this morning so I’m wondering if it is not going to absorb the whole thing. What do I do about that??
It hasn’t tried standing up or really opening its eyes yet. It has a hard time holding its head steady. Most of the time it it just falls forward. She can pick it up and move it around, shake it,etc. but just can’t hold it up. Is this normal?

It did drink just a little bit of water. I did put some vitamins in that. So maybe that will help. ?

I'm sorry, I was at work all day yesterday. It's great that it's still alive! Try some water with poultry vitamins (if you have it) with egg yolk or water with sugar and a bit of salt and egg yolk.

• 2 teaspoons molasses OR 2 teaspoons granulated sugar.
• 1/8 teaspoon salt.
• 1/8 teaspoon baking soda.

I got it to drink some water finally! I put some nutridrench in it. I will grab the other ingredients you suggested later today!

Also, it’s trying to stand, but the remaining yolk sac is interfering I believe and it’s really weak still. I added a photo below. Do you suggest I leave it be?

Never use wet it can cause the baby to get cold
Because the baby can’t move to get away from heat make sure to stay around 85 -90 many move from the 90 and this baby is unable to do this
Because it’s still absorbing it’s not ready to be up drinking and eating
In its egg it would still be resting and absorbing

Because the baby can’t move to get away from heat make sure to stay around 85 -90 many move from the 90 and this baby is unable to do this
Because it’s still absorbing it’s not ready to be up drinking and eating
In its egg it would still be resting and absorbing
