Please help

I have a baby chick who is possibly stuck. She pipped over 36 hrs ago. How do I help her? I can see her face and she's chirping.
( that is not a zip it is blood)

there should be an article in the articles tab. short answer, slowly peel the shell off and stop if there's blood.

Welcome to BYC. If she is chirping you may need to just monitor. Its hard to be patient but some take much longer than others to hatch. Here is the best article on assisted hatch. Please read before assisting.

Hopefully, it will be able to hatch itself. I have only done a single assisted hatch when a broody hen mother did not do it for the chick.

I helped her out. I took a tweezers and peeled back shell. She is currently walking around the incubator with her sister!
