Please Help!

there's something wrong with my saxony hen. I just notice today that there seemed to be a bump on her back and when I felt it, it seemed that her spine vertebrate right by her hip was arched and a little twisted and crooked. She eats, drinks, walks, and swims fine.

How old is your duck? Have you had her since she was a baby? I have had ducks before that have had a spine deformity that doesnt end up effecting their quality of life. Its most often from an incubation issue- but a similar problem can be the result of an injury. Is this something that has happened all of a sudden? or could it have been developing for a long time? ( you dont say how often your duck get checked over so I just wanted to ask a few questions to work out what might be going on for her )

She is 15 weeks. I didn't hatch her I got her as a duckling. I thought I have seen it a few weeks ago but I thought it was nothing since she is doing everything fine.

Is the bump hard or does it kind of move like it could just be fluid filled?
