Sorry, really long day. So many were out sick, and now waiting on my husband to come home... a person from our church was being questioned by police, they wanted him there. Hope everyone gets to feeling better.

This waiting is awful! At least on the other days...I could touch the eggs!

We are putting the finishing touches on our coop today...

It's beginning! I heard little bitty chirping this morning! and Now...the eggs (2 of them) have begun pipping! (cracked!!)

I'm so excited...but I have to leave! Lot going on....and it may all be over when I get back!!

Oh yes, I did notice yesterday...I had to check checking my temps...they kept climbing on me!

I was wondering the same thing, Katy.

I have a somewhat okay pic of my little group-6 chicks, but I have a bad feeling it's going to be 5 soon

The one little one that I'm pretty sure is blind, seems weaker. I've tried dipping its beak in water and food, but it doesn't seem to understand. This is the one that zipped so fast-probably 15 minutes or less!

Cute babies BrahmaMama.....I lost the last one to hatch from last week too. Sounds very simliar.....although mine took forever to get out, but it never got the hang of eating and drinking no matter how many times I put it up to the water and food.
