Ok I finally had the time to post a comment. I hope all of these comments do some good and start a reform!

"Alena Lawerence brought up a great point, and the other commissioners need to listen! Chickens help people in these hard economic time to provide for their families just as much as a vegetable garden. Chickens are also great pets, they are quiet, have less diseases than other pets, and when properly cared for DON'T smell. If there is a illogical fear of everyone having huge flocks of chickens in your city, than why not just limit the amount to 6? That is what many other cities do, they work with their citizens and find common ground. I hope this city reconsiders and allows at least some chickens. I hate what our country is coming to, taking away basic rights to provide our families with fresh home grown food, especially in times with industries sending out more and more tainted food."

(in case you were wondering what I wrote...I hope I didn't seem too hard on them)
