The injured chicken is doing pretty well but something came back about an hour ago and managed a kill.

I am thinking weasel as that’s the only thing that I can think of that could possibly fit in there and her head was gone but not sure. We’re trying to get the trail cam set up but it’s not working. But we’ll be picking up a trap ASAP tomorrow.

Took a while to get her out as she was in the back up against the fence and no one could squeeze back there and she was also partially pulled under but we got her. Don’t want that little jerk feasting!

Forgot to mention my mom apparently saw the weasel today under a different coop so it’s confirmed that it’s a weasel and I took this cutie with me to TSC today to get a trap. Going to set it up now.

Glad your hen is doing ok. Was she in the run, coop, or free ranging when she was attacked? If one of the latter, have you figured out how the culprit got in?
