please someone VERY GRAPHIC PICS

It is its intestines it rolled over on its side and I could see it real good there is a hole there with its intestines coming from inside of it. they are gray up at the top and now the yolk sack looks like it is full of bloody water. I wish God would just let it die cause I can't put it down by myself but my husband can when he gets home.
They are his chickens anyway I just take care of them and hatch the eggs and love them

This is one of those times you ask yourself why you keep doing this to yourself.

Sorry that it looks like there won't be a good outcome.

Sounds and looks like the umbilicus has herniated and now the intestines are protruding through.

If there has been no improvement, and the chick is that weak, euthanizing it is probably the most humane thing you can do.

So sorry... :aww

I know you don't want to but this chick is suffering in my opinion and should be euthanized.....many of us that have hatched out chicks know that some don't come out just right and its in the chicks best interest to be put down.....I'm so sorry you are having to deal with this..........

This is the part of hatching that bothers me the most. I had to put one of mine down too last week. If you use start fluid on a rag, make sure you leave the lid on the container for over an hour.

I had one similar to that that was dragging the egg shell aroung i just cliped the,(what i assumed was the imbilicle) with a pair of scisors,no worries

my husband did it, and when we got home he had to put the other one down it had busted open and its little intesines were out too and it was bleeding quite a bit
this is so sad I dont know if I want to hatch anymore. I don't like this part.
but I still have nine happy and healthy babies

If that is the intestines, as I suspect that you're correct, there is nothing to do but put it to sleep. Starter fluid (not lighter fluid), which is ether, sprayed in a plastic bag or airproof container with the baby inside will put it to sleep permanently

Sorry about your chicks, but like you said, you still have some healthy ones. It's all part of the hatching game and unfortunately one you have to get used to. With mother nature things don't always go the way we'd like and I think when we're doing the mama hen job with our incubators we open the whole operation to more things that can go wrong.
