"Handle With Care" - don't overdo the merlot!!

New2,don't wet urself,,still 25 days to go before hatchtime,,that is unless Thang has just been sunning himself and not doing his job,he is a slacker for sure. Some pens I've still to get an egg from, like my cameos and only 3 eggs from my midnight pen so far.

Okay,as much as I hate to,the year 2014 will also have Thangettes to be remembered by. Just a small crack so far but the little bugger is chirping like theres no tomorrow so by the weekend we will have a new Thangette,,chances are the mother is either a purple pied or an opal pied

Well, I think we should all be able to hear that! All those in favor of FBC recording said Thangette chirping and then uploading an audio file so we can all be as enthralled as he obviously is, say AYE!

Last post was 4 hours ago. At that time I had a purple,Thangette, and 1 IB just pipped. I started looking at the number of eggs that was due for this birthday merlot hatch-a-long and noticed many so I then decided after planting garden I better fire up the hatcher since this time about 7 diffrent colors was in this group. Got 2 gallons of distilled water, fired up the air compressor and got some windex, cleaned the hatcher up and started it to get things adjusted and then opened the incubator up to see a IB completely out and it wasn't pipped earlier.Llittle Thangette hasn't made any progress but I put the new IB Pied chick inside the hatcher since it's chirping all the time it will be a morale booster for others. Zaz there is 3 bssp eggs that are in the hatcher too.

AYE!!! I like using the audio off of videos of young peachicks to help encourage my own eggs to hatch. It is especially helpful when you only have one egg incubating.
