Please tell my idiot owner what kind of rooster I am

I want to see some babies from this guy. Good Gosh he's absolutely STUNNING!!

He looks to have maybe some OEGB stuck in there. The way his wings are makes me think that.

Stunning. Absolutely Stunning. Those saddle feathers... Good Grief...

I second the unanimous decision... He is one STUNNING rooster!

Maybe you could get some phoenix hens, some Welsummer hens, maybe some standard OEGB hens, and then hatch the eggs... With such a daddy they'd have to be the most beautiful chickens around.

ETA: Ooh! Add some Speckled Sussex or one of the other speckled breeds to the henhouse too!

wow...I have to admit, im surprised at ya'lls reaction....I thought he was pretty as well but it seems I may have something special....lol...I and he both, would be honored if you used him as a model.

Im sort of at a loss as to what to do with him now....Given ya'lls suggestion, I wouldnt mind breeding him a bit but derrrrrr...as I said....im "chicken-dumb"....any concensus on how someone like me should begin?

You'll have to pick hens to breed him with. I'm sure others will have suggestions as to breeds, but, to me, Welsummer comes to mind, maybe even easter eggers? But, as I said, I'm sure others will have better suggestions as to what hens to breed to. Then, separate him with the hens you want to breed him to. Wait about 2 weeks after you separate him, then collect the eggs and stick em in an incubator. You can buy an incubator at most farm supply stores.

sunny & the 5 egg layers :

Maybe he is a gold spangled hamburgh?

He has the wrong kind of comb for a Hamburg. With as nice as his comb is, I think he would have to be a cross of single combed birds. Crossing a single combed bird with a rose or pea combed bird gives some really funky results.
