I'm new to chickens but just want to say that all 3 of my Dark Brahma roos were doing a similar motion before they learned to crow.

It frequently happens in connection with either eating a large amount of feed at once or eating a finely ground or powdered food... like sand. They may make squeaking noises at the same time.

Ohhh really I never know about this ..yes u r right I arranged some pure beach sand for their playing when they play in sand they pick some then after they do that motion ..that's chicken science wow

I got some commercial feed that made for chickens but they didn't Even pick lol they are habitat to eat their millet scratch and fresh corn sometimes they like boiled egg in breakfast..yes minimal treats ..
Yep they eat grit ..

Probably not eating it because of all the yummy treats you give. If you stop the treats. They will eat normal food. Then, you can give treats once in awhile.

Hehehe yeah u r right ..they like to eat scratch so much now I try to give them their official chicken feed
