There are 2 red plugs on the top. I converted my LG still air to a forced air, temps are steady and so is the humidity, but what do I do with the plugs? Do I leave them in, take them both out? Take just one out?

Help please

I have the same incubator with a fan, I took the one out over the fan, then at lockdown both come out. Hope that helps. Good Luck with your hatch!

I would keep one in for the first 18 days and then take it out the other one for the last three days of lockdown. Hatching chicks need more oxygen so better air circulation would be good.

Ok great! Will this effect the temp inside? I have it right now at 99.6 and the humidity at 37%. Will I have to re-adjust?

This is my first time incubating!!!!

I have an LG Forced Air too and both of my plugs are out this hatch (due 3-28)... of course the cat took off with them to who knows where. Everything seems to be holding steady. The plugs seem to affect the humidity more than the temperature.

Funny, because I couldn't stabilize my still air until I put both plugs in! Temp as well as humidity were all over the place, esp temp. Not sure, but I imagine the fan helps with that. My understanding is to leave one out until lockdown, then take out the other.

Good luck!
